XXVI FILLM Congress News Call for Papers Registration Programme Travel and Accommodation Location and Venue Contact Information | XXVI International Congress of the FILLM 26th FILLM Congress, Day 3 (Thursday 19 June 2014) Photos by Adam Borch The third and final day began with panel sessions on "Digital Technologies and Film" and "Chinese Language and Literature in International Contexts" before the Congress concluded with Julie Saunders' (University of Nottingham) plenary lecture "Shakespeare Beyond English? Adaptation, Case Study, and Creativity in World Cinema" and a small closing ceremony. To see some more photos from Day 3 go here. Penultimate lecture of the congress: Adam Knee (UNNC) giving an engaging talk on Thailand in contemporary East Asian cinema. Professor Julie Sanders (University of Nottingham, United Kingdom) concluded the academic program with her excellent paper "Shakespeare Beyond English? Adaptation, Case Study, and Creativity in World Cinema.". FILLM Vice-President Meenakshi Bharatrk (University of Delhi, India) closing the congress by thanking the organising committee for their tremendous effort.
