CIPSH organizes World Humanities Conference in 2017

Theme:Challenges and Responsibilities for a Planet in Transition


The International Council for Philosophy and Human Sciences (CIPSH) will co-organize "The World Humanities Conference" together with UNESCO and LIEGETOGETHER. The conference will take place in Liege, Belgium in 2017.

The Call for Papers have been issued for the conference.

Whereas the deadline for submitting proposals for thematic sections has passed, it is possible to propose to organize a symposia within the conference until the 31 January 2017.

You can also still submit individual paper proposals to one of the sessions within the conference's six thematic sessions (deadline: 30 March 2017):
  • Humanity and the Environment
  • Cultural Identities, Cultural Diversities and Intercultural Relations: a Global Multicultural Humanity
  • Borders and Migrations
  • Heritage
  • History, Memory and Politics
  • The Humanities in a Changing World. What Changes the World and in the World? What Changes the Humanities and in the Humanities?
