Amendment to the FILLM Constitution| 8.9.2015 |
At its latest General Meeting in Ningbo, China, the FILLM Committee agreed to make a minor amendment to the federation's consitution.
Following the recent revision of the FILLM Constitution, an inconsistency existed between point 20 and the points 7 and 25. To clear up this inconsistency, the FILLM Committee agreed to change point 20 from
"All decisions of the Committee shall be taken by a simple majority of the members present or, for decisions taken via email, by a simple majority of the members voting. The President shall have a casting vote."
to
"Except for matters concerning admissions to membership (point 7) or amendments to the Constitution (point 25), all decisions of the Committee shall be taken by a simple majority of the members present or, for decisions taken via email, by a simple majority of the members voting. The President shall have a casting vote."
