Welcome to the first ever FILLM Podcast!
In our attempt to further develop and encourage the study of languages and literatures across the globe, we are constantly working to create more dynamic and varied ways of discussing current issues within both fields.
We have recently created the FILLM Book Series and the FILLM Blogs and we are now pleased to introduce you to our latest initiative: FILLM Podcasts.
For its inaugral podcast, FILLM is honoured to present Dr Sukrita Paul Kumar, Aruna Asaf Chair at the University of Delhi and member of the Advisory Panel for the 27th FILLM Congress. Here Dr Kumar's takes up for discussion the interesting an often vexing issue of multilingualism and multiculturalism in India, looking into the problems and essaying some directions for solutions.
Dr Kumar's talk is the first of three planned podcasts to be published in the run-up to the next FILLM Congress in New Delhi in March 2017. The podcasts will focus on India, even as they seek to place the country within a global context. For the next podcasts, keep an eye on the FILLM website.
