| 14.8.2020 |At the General Meeting of the FILLM Committee held online on 26 July 2020, a new Committee was elected.
From 2020-2023, Professor Adams Bodomo (University of Vienna) will be FILLM President. He steps up from his previous role as Vice-President replacing Margaret Higonnet (University of Connecticut) who remains on the Committee as Past-President while also temporarily taking charge of the Treasurer's responsibilities.
Tom Clark (University of Melbourne) and Adam Borch (Åbo Akademi University) continue as FILLM's Secretary-General and Communications Officer, respectively. Liliane Louvel (Poitiers University) and Haun Saussy (University of Chicago) move from their previous roles as Assistant Secretary-Generals to being Vice-Presidents. Petra Broomans (University of Groningen), Edda Weigand (University of Münster) and Chen Rudong (Peking University) all continue as Assistant Secretary-Generals.
FILLM would like to welcome Nana Aba Appiah Amfo (University of Ghana), Lucy Pearson (Newcastle University) and Constantine Yuka (University of Benin) to the Committee. They will all be serving as Assistant Secretary-Generals from 2020-2023.
Finally, FILLM would like to thank outgoing Committee members Li Cao (Tsinghua University), Antoinette Tidjani Alou (Université Adbou Moumouni), Liliana Sikorska (Adam Mickiewicz University) and Meenakshi Bharat (University of Delhi) for their services to the federation. Hopefully, we can continue working together in the future!
