Words of Welcome from FILLM President, Adams Bodomo As FILLM President, I am excited to welcome the Ibero-American Organization of Rhetoric (OIR) to our federation. OIR shares the linguistic, literary, and overall humanistic interests of FILLM through its international, interdisciplinary approaches to the analyses of language use in various domains. We encourage members of OIR to participate in the activities of FILLM. For instance, they can already start submitting abstracts to the Triennial Congresses of FILLM, the next of which will be held in the beautiful city of Vienna in July 2021, where the theme will be "Linguistic, Literary, and Cultural Diversity in a Global Perspective." Future exchanges of OIR with our sister societies promise to be mutually fruitful, and we look forward to our cooperation. OIR would be particulally interested in participating in activities of the World Logic Day on January 14, 2021 and the European Humanities Conference in May 2021 which are being organized by the International Council of Philosophy and Human Sciences (CIPSH), of which FILLM is one of the founding members.
